REGISTERING FOR A UNH DISTANCE EDUCATION COURSE

1. Send e-mail to the instructor and ask for permission
2. Go to UNH Continuing Education : www.learn.unh.edu
You may register by phone, in-person, fax, or mail.
Follow the "Register > Credit Courses" links for information.
If you have taken a UNH credit course before, you may also
register by e-mail via the "MyUNH" login.
3. 2006 Tuition if course is taken for credit:
1-11 credits in courses numbered 200-799:
$251 per credit, NH residents
$277 per credit, nonresidents
1-8 credits in courses numbered 800-999:
$292 per credit, NH residents
$322 per credit, nonresidents
Plus Registration Fee $20
Technology Fee: 1-4 credits $13.50
4. 2006 Tuition if Course is taken as "Audit"
$100 per credit

GETTING STARTED WITH LEARNLINC DISTANCE EDUCATION SOFTWARE
***************************************************************
Prior to the first class we suggest that you view a class tutorial at
http://at.unh.edu/tlc/learnlinc/tutorial.html
This tutorial demonstrates various aspects of taking a LearnLinc based course.
In order to view the tutorial and to participate in the online course you need
create a LearnLinc user account, register for the LearnLinc course, and download
the LearnLinc software.
1. CREATING A NEW USER ACCOUNT
To create a new user account on Learnlinc, go to this website:
http://learnlinc.unh.edu/
When you submit your account information your homepage will be displayed.
The top line will say “your name” home page …
2. REGISTERING FOR A COURSE ON THE DISTANCE LEARNING SERVER
(Note this unrelated to registering and paying for the course
with UNH's Registrar's office)
Select "Learnlinc Catalog"
On the catalog page select the desired course by clicking on the square box to
the
left of the course. Then click on "Register" at the top of the catalog list.
This will register you for the LearnLinc course.
The course registration page will refresh.
Now select the course you just registered for. The course page will be
displayed and
your name appear under the list of students.
3. DOWNLOADING THE LEARNLINC SOFTWARE
Select Download from the top of the page. This page shows two versions of
LearnLinc.
Download the Standard Classroom (2Mb) version and install it.
Logout, check if you can log in as a regular user, and logout again.
Now view the tutorial posted at http://at.unh.edu/tlc/learnlinc/tutorial.html
