Additional details: Problem with import data

My previous posting did not contain enough detail, so I am supplying it here to clarify.

I am trying to import data using the S-Plus 7.0 GUI menu system.  When I select " File > Import Data > From File", 3 unusual things happen:

1) The usual file import window does not open.
2) A new file import window opens that I do not recognize. (see attached pdf)
3) A very long error message appears in the message window (this was previously posted).

This error seems independent of file size and type because it occurs PRIOR to me selecting a specific file from the menu system (in fact, I cannot even select a file because this window does not appear).  After the problem began, I tried updating to S-Plus 7.0.6, which occurred successfully, but this did not solve the problem.

I have just noticed similar problems with the following menus:
-"File > Load Library"
-"File > Export Data"
-"File > Load Module"

I cannot recall ever having made changes to the S-Plus settings.
