I have received a rather large 4th Dimension database from a client. I am
trying to get this into Splus6.2Windows or R. Is there any
routine/library that will read this directly like the odbcConnectAccess in
R or the file/import in Splus. I have downloaded the evaluation version
of 4th Dimension, but it doesn't seem to have any export capabilities or
copy functionality. My client inherited the database from former owners
and they have no idea what to do with it either. Alternatively, if anyone
knows a routine to convert the database to Access or csv or anything, that
would be appreciated as well.
