Thread-topic: Which statistical method??
Dear List,

I am not a statistician. Therefore, I need an expert advice from this
community to interpret a data set.

I have 2 variables (x, y) and 83 measurements for each. If for example a
particular parameter for x change 12 time out of 83, and same parameter for y
changes 14 times. Both variables change together 6 times. I want to figure
out if the "interaction" or the change together (6 times) is significant. What
type of statistical test I can use? I apologize for not using the right
terminology and terms.

I would really appreciate your insight into this problem.
