Using S-Plus 7 under Windows XP.

If I draw a map using the maps library then choose the "convert to objects" by right-clicking on any part of the plot that is not the background color, the resulting plot is inevitably missing parts.

Assuming that the zomm is set to "fit to window", if I make the window smaller by grabbing a corner with left-click-and-hold, I will see the entire plot if I shrink the window enough. But, as I expand it again, parts begin to disappear. On plots that are not as complicated, I use the convert-to-objects option without trouble.

Has anyone else noticed this? If so, is there something I need to do to avoid the problem, or is this a current feature?
