I am
getting the following error message with lme:
Problem in .C("mixed_EM",: Singularity in backsolve,
while calling subroutine mixed_EM
Use traceback() to see the call
stack
The
Insightful website has a fix for this:
I ran
the script on the website and got a warning message:
Conflicting definitions of "lme.formula" on databases "H:\Chuanpu\temp"
and "nlme3"
After
that, lme still produces the same error message. I use S-PLUS 8 on Windows 2000.
I tried the fix with S-PLUS 6.2 and got the same error message.
Any
help will be appreciated,
