Dear All: I am trying to read a big Excel file into S-PLUS (6.2 and/or 7.0). For those familiar with functional genomics, it is the AFFY Mouse Genome Array annotation. A fragment of this file is attached. As seen from this attachment, some records in this annotation are pretty lengthy, and I need them in full within my S-PLUS session. However, after reading to S-PLUS, the columns were truncated to eight symbols. How to prevent such a truncation? Thank you in advance. Happy New Year to everybody! Xao Ping R&R Pharmakinetics Taiwan
