I'm using S-Plus 8.0.4 under XP SP3. I'm attempting to create an image with a particular color table, using the image() function. I can alter or create an image color palette using Options > Color Schemes and then select the Image Colors tab to edit colors of any given palette. Under S-Plus 7, I could go to Options>Color Style > Image Colors and select the desired palette. Once I'd done that, I could either redraw the image or go to Format > Apply Style > Color and have the colors in the image remapped to the new palette. While S-Plus appears to accept the changes, nothing happens. In fact, even when I edit the standard palette, the edited standard palette is ignored. What am I missing?
