course for new & relatively new users of S+. No experience is
necessary. If you are already an experienced user, you might know
someone else who will benefit from attending.
The Getting Started
course provides users with the knowledge to get the most out of the S+ GUI
& Command line. Course contents include Introduction to the S-PLUS GUI,
Visualisation including Trellis Graphics, Data Import/Export, Data Manipulation
& Analysis, writing your own simple functions & efficient
programming.
Personal computers are
provided and course presentations are backed up by frequent practical
sessions.
