Gina D’Angelo joined the Division of Biostatistics in September 2007 as an Assistant Professor. She received a ScM in Biostatistics from the Johns Hopkins University in 1998 and a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. Dr. D’Angelo did her postdoctoral training in Biostatistics and Statistical Genetics at the University of Pittsburgh from 2005 to 2007.

Dr. D’Angelo’s research interests include missing and censored data methodology with a focus on semiparametric efficient methods, likelihood-based methods, logistic regression, survival analysis, genomics, and statistical methodology for Alzheimer’s disease (AD), imaging studies, biomarkers, sepsis, and oncology. A goal of her research is the application and development of prediction models with a focus on dimension reduction techniques, variable selection methods, and missing data methods. She is a member of the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) Biostatistics Core and the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS) Research Design and Biostatistics Group (RDBG).
