Jean Zhang joined the Division of Biostatistics in September 2005, not long after she graduated from Washington University School of Medicine, with a master’s degree in Psychiatric Epidemiology. Before her arrival in the division she worked in the Department of Psychiatry as a research assistant in several clinical trials of depression treatment and psychological evaluations.

She works as a Statistical Data Analyst in the Division of Biostatistics in multiple NIH and other National Institute funded projects, such as HALT-PKD, CRSIP and EXCITE. She also facilitates clinical researchers on various cancer related studies from the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center. In addition to her role as data analyst, she provides research coordinators with training using SCIP, which is a web-based data entry system developed by the division and SAS Institute, designed for small-scale clinical studies.
