Request for New WUBIOS Computing 
Resource Account
  Accounts at the WUBIOS Computing Resource are available only for members of the Division of Biostatistics and their collaborators and by application and approved by the the Director of the WUBIOS Computing Resource.  The prevailing philosophy is that of a community of cooperating users rather than that of a vendor/consumer. Charges are billed back to the users. Accounts are of several types, the two most common are Analysis Accounts and Email Accounts. Both types of accounts are charged to the user on a fixed fee per month, regardless of the utilization of the account.  Access accounts are special accounts which allow users to connect to the computing resource for the purposes of accessing analysis accounts. Network accounts simply provide user authentication, but no other shell access.  Contact the Director of the resource, Phil Miller (mailto: phil@wubios.wustl.edu ) for more information about services offered.
  Product Information
  Access to analysis accounts is usually shared across several users, therefore WUBIOS does not allow direct logins to analysis accounts. These may be accessed only from authorized secure desktop locations,  authorized access accounts or a special SAS-access accounts.  For those doing statistical analyses, the usual configuration is for each user assigned to a project to have their own access account, and then to share a single analysis account

Especially since the WUBIOS resource is used for clinical research studies, we are concerned about security at all times. For this reason, it is assumed that accounts are not shared (except for analysis accounts).  This implies that each individual user has his/her own password and is accountable for all usage of that account.
