The Department of Radiology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University invites applications for a clinical faculty position in Body Imaging. Position requires fellowship or comparable experience in body imaging (abdomen, pelvis, and vascular imaging) and board certification or eligibility in diagnostic radiology. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The ideal candidate should have strong interpretative skill in all modalities including advanced applications. We work closely with other referrers therefore strong interpersonal skills and a proven aptitude in dealing with other clinical teams is of great importance. In addition, the successful applicant will act as the Site Director for the Allen Hospital, a satellite site of New York Presbyterian Hospital. As a teaching hospital it is expected that a successful candidate would be actively involved in teaching not only residents and fellows within our department but also to other departments. Candidate must be able to obtain a NYS medical license; narcotics license is desirable.
The Allen Hospital is a 200-bed community hospital at which most departments of the Hospital offer clinical services including surgical and medical subspecialties. The Department of Radiology Facilities have state-of-the-art equipment including MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and radiography/fluoroscopy.
