SIBS is a 6-week residential summer training program in biostatistics, sponsored by NHLBI and NRCC, for quantitatively-oriented undergraduates and beginning graduate students who are interested in the biological and health sciences. SIBS-BRIDGE at WUSM has a concentration on statistical genetics/genetic epidemiology, and bioinformatics. Our goal is to demonstrate that biostatistics is useful and important for modern biomedical research, and that doing biostatistical research can also be exciting and fun!
