After finishing up final preparations the Mary Day sailed out of Camden Harbor and into Penobscot Bay. The day was somewhat foggy.

We sailed into Great Cove off the mainland near Brooklin where a number of other windjammers were also arriving. Great Cove is generally called Wooden Boat Cove by the windjammer folk because of its proximity to the Wooden Boat School.
